As a child I never broke a bone. I never required a trip to the ER. I was always careful, I guess or the non-adventurous type. Well my toddler has already proven herself to be the exact opposite of her mama because the ripe old age of 2 and she landed herself in the ER with a "common" injury among toddlers that I never even knew existed.

I'm not a runner, nor do I play one on TV. I should say that I have participated in runs in the past. I ran exactly one half marathon in Philadelphia and one full marathon in Walt Disney World. I did it. I didn't think it could be done. But I did it. I flew nearly cross country with 2 kids under 2. The flight out had me reading and researching all that I could about flying with children, I thought and over-thought EVERYTHING. I've lived and learned and now I'm sharing what I would do again and what I could do without.
There aren't a lot of things out today that can bring generations together but Toy Story certainly does. Having first been introduced to Buzz and Woody as children, today's parents can reminisce about the duo's first adventure while they watch the latest installment with their children.
