I don't know about anyone else out there, but I felt more prepared for Christmas on November 1st than I feel right now, on December 22nd. So much thought has gone into making C's first Christmas special (yes, I know she won't remember a thing, but that's what cameras are for) that now that the day is almost here I don't feel prepared at all.
A few weeks back I sent away for a letter from Santa to commemorate her first Christmas and also received a certificate recognizing her on the Nice List. I bought the special plate for milk and cookies for Santa that we will use for years to come and we of course went to our local mall to take a photo with him.
Now the actual event is almost here I'm feeling excited yet exhausted at the same time. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be busy. No getting around it. Going from house to house to stop by and visit family and friends was tiring when it was just the hubby and I, now adding a baby to the mix I'm already tired just thinking about it.
With any holiday comes lots of cute baby outfits though! So check out what C will be wearing (and hopefully not pooping through).
C will has been downing her winter PJs. All three of these were purchased at Carter's.
On Christmas Eve she will wear her red, thermal, Santa pajamas.
Prior to changing in her Santa PJs, she will wear her "First Visit from Santa" onesie along with a skirt/pant that came as part of another outfit but I felt this worked for this onesie too.
Christmas morning she'll wake up in her Santa PJs but then things get crazy. First she will change into her First Christmas onesie that was purchased off of Etsy along with her red tutu.
Then she will change into her dress that she wore to meet Santa for later on in the day/evening.
The child has more clothes than I do. I will only be wearing one outfit on Christmas Day. Here's hoping it all goes smoothly and like I said, nothing comes out poop-stained. But we have backup outfits just incase.
Merry Christmas everyone!
