Recently we went to a Christmas festival and at one of the stations they set up a super fun, easy and low-mess Grinch paper craft. This holiday craft requires few supplies and very little prep and it's toddler friendly!
In a previous life I worked at a daycare while I was in college. I started off as an assistant in the toddler classroom and then became the lead. The best way to showcase the activities our kids were partaking in throughout their time in my class was through bulletin board displays. I loved creating themed boards to match the time of year and was known throughout the facility as the teacher who was constantly changing out her boards!
Happy Valentine's Day! In preparation for today, I went searching and found plenty of pins for fun crafts with the baby! We're working on finger painting but making hand and foot prints are still easier (for the record, foot prints are the easiest).
'Tis the season for Christmas themed baby artwork! I found a ton of pins that offer great ideas for what to create with your little one's hands and feet. First up? Mistletoes!
Thanksgiving is tomorrow!
We have been preparing for Princess C's first Thanksgiving and with that comes holiday themed arts and crafts. The typical turkey crafts usually are made up of just your hand however, as you can imagine a 5 month old's hands are a bit too small to trace and make a turkey. Also, trying to paint her palm brown and the rest of her fingers a different color is down right laughable. So when I need ideas, where do I go? To Pinterest of course!
Tummy Time has been a staple in our day since Princess C has been home from the hospital and I think because we did it so early she became semi-used to it and now as she's gotten older she really seems to enjoy it. I found a pin that talked about Tummy Time art and I thought I would give it a go. At only 4 months, C may be a little young for this but in all honesty, the results were not bad!
