It's the most wonderful time of the year! Theme park experiences might be a bit different in 2020, but lots of our favorite places to visit are still making sure guests have a holly, jolly time - with some parks even adding NEW experiences for 2020! I'm sharing how Disney World, Busch Gardens, Dollywood, Hersheypark, Sesame Place and Six Flags are celebrating this holiday season.
Did you know there is a place that has a replica of Noah's Ark built to the specifications laid out in the Bible? The town is Williamstown, Kentucky and the structure is massive! Inside the Ark there are three decks, outside there's a giant playground, places to eat and a zoo. There's no better time to visit the Ark Encounter because in 2020, kids 10 and under are FREE.

There are so many changes in our world as we knew it but places we've known and love are trying their hardest to be there for us. Theme parks have (for the most part) opened up for the summer season, and are doing their best to offer families a sense of normalcy in this "new normal". Recently, my family and I visited Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA and while there were certainly differences in our experience, our favorite furry monsters were there for us none the less! See what precautions were taken, what changes were made and most importantly, if I felt safe during our visit to Sesame Place.
I remember visiting the Crayola Experience in Easton, PA with my Girl Scout troop. It was certainly a memorable trip! Recently, Crayola Experience announced Virtual Camp trips that include hands-on fun and 3 hours of go-at-your-own-pace activities. More information on this virtual experience plus info on which Crayola Experience locations have reopened after the jump!
2020 is a big year for Sesame Place, located in Langhorne, PA, this year marks the 40th birthday for Sesame Place. Big plans were announced prior to the unforeseen circumstances that have taken over the first half of 2020. Instead of opening back in spring, Sesame Place has remained closed throughout most of the summer season. Last week it was announced that the home of Elmo, Big Bird and the other lovable, furry monsters would open on Friday, July 24th!

Over 15 rides made for kids or kids and a guardian plus there is a petting zoo inside Planet Snoopy that is home to over 50 animals!
