3 Ingredient Egg Salad Sandwich

Heinz has released their new Real Mayonnaise made from 100% Cage-Free eggs, it's "deliciously creamy". Available in squeezable bottles or screw-top lid jars, Heinz Real Mayonnaise is "Crafted to be more like Homemade". What better way to showcase creamy mayonnaise than in a super simple, 3 ingredient egg salad?
I received a voucher to purchase this item at my local grocery store free of charge. The thoughts expressed in this post are my own.
Ahh, yes I remember my first egg salad sandwich well.. just kidding! But isn't that always how blog posts about food start? Sorry, I don't have any profound words to describe the inspiration behind this egg salad sandwich except that it contains 3 ingredients (and 3 additional, optional ingredients).

I slightly know my way around a kitchen and I'm always on the hunt for easy, minimal ingredient required recipes. When looking up egg salad sandwiches online (or Pinterest) there were a lot recipes that called for a TON of ingredients and I just couldn't believe that I didn't have all I needed to make a sandwich in my kitchen without having to go to the grocery store.

So, I looked at what I had and I went with it and now I'm going to share it with you.

3 Ingredient Egg Salad Sandwich

1/2* cup of Heinz Real Mayonnaise
3 Kosher Baby Dill Whole Pickles

*Depending on your fondness for Mayo you may want to use less or more than 1/2 cup.

Paprika (to taste)

Instructions

Step 1
This may need to go without saying but, you need to hard-boil some eggs. This recipe that I have here calls for 6 hard-boiled eggs. Once they are cooled, make your sandwich!

Step 2
Chop up your Baby Dill Whole Pickles. You can use a chopper if you have one but I hand cut mine, this may cause the pieces of pickle to be a bit larger but I think it gives it a nice crunch.

Step 3
Peel the hard-boiled eggs and mash them up in a bowl.

Step 4
Add in the 1/2 cup of Heinz Real Mayonnaise to the eggs and mix it/mash it up some more.

Step 5
Stir in the chopped up Whole Baby Dill Pickle.

That's it! You've now completed the required portion of this recipe.

If you like, you can add salt, pepper and/or paprika to taste.

Enjoy!

Heinz NEW Real Mayonnaise is just as they advertised SUPER creamy, I mean deliciously creamy! It has a slightly sweeter taste than other mayonnaise I've had in the past however, I don't think it interrupts the flavor profile of the egg salad at all. I opted for the twist-lid jar so I cannot speak to how the mayonnaise comes out of the upside-down squeeze container, but out of the jar on the spoon it was really smooth and tired into the eggs almost effortlessly.

Heinz NEW Real Mayonnaise is on the shelf at your local grocery store now.
