As a mom my days seem like a constant cycle of running errands, dropping off at school, picking up from school, dishes, laundry and "hey I just swept the floor". Hours can go by before I realize I skipped a meal or that the only thing I ate was whatever was leftover from my kids' breakfast or lunch. That's why I was so happy to discover Splendid Spoon! A ready to eat meal subscription service that is plant-based, vegan and GMO-free. Read on for my honest thoughts and how you can get $60 off your first three boxes.

3 Things FabFitFun Taught Me About Myself

I'm sure you've seen the same ads I have (for years) about FabFitFun and how "great" it is and how you get a box that has a value of $200 for $50 and blah blah blah. Well, I gave into peer pressure last year and signed up. The first box I received was FabFitFun's Fall 2019 box . What finally got me to sign up? This super cute Kate Spade lunch tote. I love Kate Spade and I thought the design of the lunch tote was really neat and no you cannot ask me how many times I've used it. Don't be rude. Anyway, lunch tote aside, I found that I really enjoyed my first box from FabFitFun so I decided to stick with it and I've since received their Winter 2019 box and the Spring 2020 box. I'll also get the Summer 2020 box in the coming weeks though I'm not sure if I'll continue beyond that. Being indecisive about wanting to continue with FabFitFun does not mean I didn't enjoy this experience. In fact, I think getting FabFitFun boxes has even taught me a few things about myself.

Since becoming a mom trips to the mall or the store in general have became a lot less relaxing. Gone are the days of being able to try on a bunch of clothes and spend hours in a fitting room in order to find the perfect outfit or pair of jeans. Prior to being pregnant I had seen commercials for Stitch Fix but thought there was no way their stylists could possibly find me clothes I like (that fit) based off of an online survey. After giving birth I was desperate for new clothes in my new postpartum size and I found a discount code that would waive the $20 styling fee, so I really didn't have anything to lose. Now I've ordered Fixes from Stitch Fix a few times and I've learned how to get the best out of them. That's why I'm sharing 4 tips on how to ensure your next Fix from Stitch Fix is your best one yet.

Is anyone else out there regretting not getting their eyebrows done one last time before their state went on lockdown? I know I'm going to have to tackle the eyebrows one day but I will say I'm dreading it and I'm scared. I'm also looking forward to my next pedicure, I'm sorry I took that last one for granted. Now in the grand scheme of things these are trivial things to worry about, sure, but also if you're missing your spa days that is A-OK in my book. That's why I've rounded up some DYI spa treatments that can be done at home, since none of us are going anywhere any time soon.

Did you know if you want your child to join a preschool in September you need to be on the phone and registering that January (or sooner)? Let me tell you, I did NOT know that and discovering preschools in my area were on waitlists for the school year starting in EIGHT MONTHS was quite shocking. Having worked at a daycare that also housed preschool classes I knew what I was looking for but I had no idea I was behind on looking. If you are not behind on looking but aren't sure what you're looking for, I have a list of questions you should ask on your next tour broken down into three different topics.
