When you have a meal at Bavarian Inn Restaurant in Frankenmuth, MI you will NOT leave hungry. The restaurant is welcoming and very family friendly. The Bavarian Inn Restaurant may be famous for their chicken but there is a lot more on their menu than that!

Bavarian Inn Restaurant Review | Family Style Food in Frankenmuth
When staying at Bavarian Inn Lodge the Bavarian Inn Restaurant is just a short walk through the covered bridge away.
There is a sidewalk that will lead you from entrance to entrance and a nice path with a great view of the lake as you stroll to and from the restaurant. This restaurant is HUGE! There are multiple rooms and lots of tables. When we climbed the few steps to the front door we turned left and walked down a long hallway to get to the hostess booth. There is more than just chicken on this menu! Bavarian Inn Restaurant offers plated meals and "Family Style" meals that allow you to eat all-you-can eat!
No one will leave hungry! In addition to the delicious food Bavarian Inn Restaurant also offers an expansive list of German beers, specialty drinks, wine and bourbon. I tried the "Bavarian Crush" drink and YUM! I loved the color, I loved the sugar/candied rim and I thought the drink was refreshing and flavorful! Let's talk food!
My husband and I each ordered "The Ultimate Family Style Bavarian Dinner". This meal comes with FIVE meats; Frankenmuth Chicken, Kasseler Rippchen (smoked pork loin), Sauerbraten (marinated roast beef), Bratwurst (smoked sausage) & Schnitzel (breaded loin of pork) plus sauerkraut and potato cheese puffs. But wait, there's MORE! In addition to the meats and the sides that were listed specially for the Ultimate Bavarian Dinner, ALL FAMILY STYLE MEALS are served with the following sides:
The kids menu has the perfect kid-friendly options; Mac & Cheese, Chicken Fingers, Grilled Cheese, Cheese Burger, and Pizza. Kids meals come with a choice of side and ice cream for dessert. Related: Planet Snoopy Inside Kings Island is Perfect for Preschoolers Since my husband and I each got a serving of the Ultimate Dinner our meats and sides were served on platters and in bowls to share. The only downside to this is because there were so many bowls of sides our table quickly became very crowded. If we needed it, we could have requested a second helping of anything! We didn't ask for seconds, we had trouble finishing our firsts! So much food and it was all delicious! The highlights for me were the Chicken (no surprise there), the Bratwurst, Cheese Puffs, Pasta Salad and the Ice Cream! Our table was full when the food came out, our bellies were full when left the restaurant and we all had big smiles our faces!
