The boss is back and he's in the crib! The Boss Baby: Back in the Crib is a new series that hit Netflix TODAY, May 19th. The new series takes audiences back to Baby Corp. and we see how things are evolving in the baby world, but what does that mean for Boss Baby? Will Tina be able to work with her uncle so closely? I recently had the pleasure of chatting with executive producer, Brandon Sawyer and he gives some behind the scenes details on how they came up with the storyline and how influencers and going "viral" inspired Baby Corp.

The Boss Baby: Back in the Crib picks up where the second film left off and follows Boss Baby as he moves in with his adult brother Tim's family, including his two nieces: brainy big kid Tabitha and fellow Baby Corp employee Tina. Together, Boss Baby and Tina co-lead a new Field Team fighting to increase Baby Love while keeping a new group of arch-nemeses - The Uncuddleables - from destroying Baby Corp itself.

Ahead of the release of the new series, I got to sit down with The Boss Baby: Back in the Crib executive producer, Brandon Sawyer.

Brandon also worked on the first spin off series, "Back in Business" and now he too is "Back in the Crib".

I talked with Brandon about when they decided to grant the film sequel a spin-off series, how they came up with the storyline for the new series, and the ways Baby Corp. has evolved to stay current with trends and going viral. You can watch our full interview below!
