Feeling stuck on how to entertain your preschooler this summer while staying home? Imagine a camp that your child could attend (virtually) that features their favorite Nick Jr. characters as their camp counselors. Imagine if each week the camp focused on a specific theme while your child engaged and interacted through music, printable activities and ebooks. Well, there's no need to imagine because Nickelodeon is launching "Camp Noggin" July 7th that will do just that. Read on to learn more!

Disney recently announced that the newest Star Wars movie, The Rise of Skywalker would be released on Disney+ early. Apprioately the film will be made available on May 4th. You don't have to be an avid Star Wars fan to understand the pun here. Much like April 30th is It's Gonna be May Day, the 4th of May has become Star Wars Day and the proper greeting or farewell is May the 4th Be with You. This day became so widespread that it was even referenced in an episode of The Big Bang Theory. To celebrate, here are all the Star Wars crafts, activities, games and treats you need to have an EPIC all-day Star Wars binge-party. The order in which you decide to watch the films is entirely up to you.
These are certainly unprecedented times we're living in; schools are closed, theme parks are closed, events are cancelled and while this can be worrying for adults, it can also be a worrying and confusing time for children. I've really appreciated how so many companies have stepped up and provided free resources for children and parents for at-home learning, everything from coloring pages, activity sheets, e-books, and games to keep their minds occupied during their extended time at home. I've compiled a list of resources I've become aware of from emails to my inbox from Sesame Workshop, Disney, Crayola and PBS. I'm also sharing videos of our favorite characters washing their hands (because we can never reiterate this message too much).
Movie studios are rallying around families stuck at home due to current quarantine recommendations and are bringing new releases to digital platforms sooner than originally expected. Both of these films were in theaters in February of this year. Read on for a synopsis of each film PLUS download The Call of the Wild family fun activities.

Frozen fever is still very real in our house. We have daily sing alongs to "Let it Go" and "Into the Unknown", I've practically perfected "ohhhh" if I do say so myself. We weren't able to see Frozen 2 but we watched it after it was released on Blu-ray and all I can say is WOW! So fun to see how the animation of these characters; Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven, has evolved since Frozen, Frozen Fever and even Olaf's Frozen Adventure. The songs are beautiful and heartfelt and unlike the first installment, Frozen 2 really pulls on the heartstrings, my husband laughed at me when it was over because he saw that I was crying during a particularly emotional scene. No spoilers here don't worry. To keep the celebration of Frozen going I'm sharing three activities you can do with your family!
