"More turkey Mr. Chandler?" It's no secret that some of the funniest episodes of Friends are the Thanksgiving episodes. All but 1 season had a Thanksgiving based episode, I don't know what went wrong during season 2 but they more than made up for it year after year as their Thanksgiving episodes got bigger and featured huge stars (I'm looking at you, Brad Pitt). So if you're looking for a new tradition this year, I have just the thing; watch all 9 Friends Thanksgiving episodes. Thanksgiving comes with many traditions; eating turkey, the Macy's parade, football and also, hilarious Friends episodes. As we all know this year marks the 25th Anniversary of Friends so why not turn your Thanksgiving into a Friends-giving? Here are the 9 Thanksgiving themed episodes of Friends to binge watch this Thursday. The One Where Underdog Gets AwaySeason 1, episode 9. This just might be the first ever "Friends-giving" on record. Originally aired in 1994, this episode centers around everyone's original Thanksgiving plans going awry. Joey gets told not to come to his family's dinner, for reasons that are too hilarious to share, Rachel misses out on her family's plans due to a misunderstanding over the pronunciation of the word "keys" and the whole gang winds up at Monica's kitchen table for the what would be the start of a new tradition. The One With the FootballSeason 3, episode 9. We skip over season 2 as that November was tied up with Ross finding out about Rachel's feelings for him (I guess no one ate turkey because of this) and go to our next Thanksgiving themed episode in season 3. Here we watch the gang play a game of touch-football and in true Geller fashion, the game turns competitive and the stakes get pretty high when it is reviewed that the winner will get the Geller Cup. The One With Chandler in a BoxSeason 4, episode 8. "Judge all you want but - married a lesbian, left a man at the alter, fell in love with a gay ice dancer, threw a girl's wooden leg in a fire, lives in a box!" This is a quote from Monica when she's judged for the guest she's invited to Thanksgiving dinner. Also in this episode, Joey decides that Chandler needs to think about the mistakes he's made and reflect inside of a box. Joey has his reasons, they were "three fold". The One With All the ThanksgivingsSeason 5, episode 8. If Friends minored in Thanksgiving themed episodes, they majored in flashback episodes and I'm happy to say this Thanksgiving episode is both! After dinner everyone sits in the living room and shares their worst Thanksgivings. This is also the episode of the infamous dance where Monica has a turkey on her head. The One Where Ross Got HighSeason 6, episode 9. So much happens in this episode! Rachel is tasked with making the Thanksgiving dessert, Joey and Ross get invited to hang out with Joey's dancer roommate and her friends but must visit at Monica's first, Monica and Chandler have yet to tell her parents about her and Chandler and try their best to change their opinion of him. Secrets are rapidly reveled in what may just be the funniest 30 seconds in television. The One Where Chandler Doesn't Like DogsSeason 7, episode 8. In this episode we meet a new cast member, Clunkers. We are also introduced the The States Game, Chandler challenges the gang to list all 50 states in 6 minutes. When Ross can't do it he forgoes Thanksgiving dinner in order to figure out which state he forgot. The One With the RumorSeason 8, episode 9. Guess who's coming to dinner? High school friend, Will, played by Brad Pitt. During dinner Will reveals he and Ross started the "I Hate Rachel Club" in high school and started a rumor about her that apparently made it's way to Chandler's high school. Meanwhile, Joey is set on eating an entire turkey by himself. The One With Rachel's Other SisterSeason 9, episode 8. This season's Thanksgiving episode featured another guest appearance, this time Christina Applegate plays the role of Rachel's other sister, Amy. Resse Witherspoon played Rachel's sister, Jill in earlier seasons. Chandler convinces Monica to use their good china for Thanksgiving and she is constantly concerned about her dinner guests ruining or breaking a dish. Meanwhile, Amy discovers she is not first on the list to get baby Emma if both Ross and Rachel die. The One With the Late ThanksgivingSeason 10, episode 8. The last Thanksgiving episode and it almost never was. The gang is divested to hear Monica doesn't want to throw Thanksgiving this year and after convincing her they all nearly miss it. Here you'll find the floating heads scene where Joey, Ross, Rachel and Phoebe all stick their heads through the locked apartment door. Monica and Chandler get life altering news at the end of this episode. There you have it, all 9 Thanksgiving themed Friends episodes for you to enjoy this Thanksgiving.
