Hard to believe that yet another Halloween has come to pass (side note, this also marks the end of my blogging challenge, Blogtober) but here we are! I'm not one to go all out with costumes and decor but I certainly appreciate when others do. The ones who seem to put in the most time and energy into Halloween costumes are of course, celebrities!
Awards for Best Celebrity Halloween Costumes 2019Best Family Costume: Neil Patrick Harris
Let's start with my favorite family. This foursome continues to put up super impressive Halloween content and this year they did not disappoint! I'm talking about Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka and their two children.
Best Movie Inspired Costume: Kim Kardashian
Kim has had some great costumes in the past, her Cher was spot on! This year she took a tongue and cheek approach to her costume by parodying one of the greatest movies of our generation, Legally Blonde. If you don't get the joke, Kim is currently studying to become a lawyer and honestly, her recreation of Elle Wood's Harvard Law School admissions video is
Best Music Inspired Costume: Jessica Biel
This one gets all of the LOLs! Talk about a throwback. Jessica Biel dressed like her husband, Justin Timberlake back in his *NSYNC days and it's all kinds of hilarious. From the "Ramen Noddle curls" to the jumpsuit, to the tiny sunglasses, not detail was left behind. Justin Timberlake went as her giant microphone and 4 other random guys filled out the rest of *NSYNC though it would have been way more impactful if the other guys were actually JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick but I digress.
Best Comic Inspired Costume: Nicki Minaj
Nicki enlisted help from her new husband to create this look and frankly, they both killed it!
Best Overall: Heidi Klum
Honestly? I have no idea what she's even supposed to be but she was getting prosthetics and makeup applied to her to create this look since 11AM. She's the Queen of Halloween.
Who Wore It Better?: Gabrielle Union vs. Angelica Ross
Brr... it's cold in here! This Bring It On costume looks great on both of these ladies. Gabrielle Union proving she can absolutely rock her cheerleading skirt NINETEEN YEARS AFTER the release of her cheertastic, cult classic film and Angelica Ross slays the look as well. Let's sign both of them up for a Bring It On reboot, stat!
There ya have it folks! The winners for best Celebrity Halloween Costumes 2019. Until next year!
