Organizing Baby Clothes

I can't believe Princess C has already grown out of three sizes of clothes! She was 6 pounds at birth so she was a bit of a peanut and hung out in her newborn clothes for over a month and then slowly grew into 0-3. Now she is working on out growing 3-6 months! With all this growing it left behind clothes that can no longer be worn by her but may be worn by someone else in the future. Whenever I need ideas on how to do something I head to, you guessed it, Pinterest! Not surprising there were plenty of pins on how to organize baby clothes.

To start, I purchased a six pack of 18 quarter, clear plastic containers.
The pin I found used larger containers but frankly, I'm not sure how this person had so much clothes! The sizes I purchased worked well for the amount of clothes I had on hand that survived blow-out poops that didn't render the clothes useless. We decided not to find out the sex of the baby, so at our shower we did receive some "gender neutral" outfits which will be great if our next one is a boy.
To make it easier on myself, I separated out the "gender neutral" from the "baby girl" clothes. I made the labels, placed them inside page protectors that I cut in half and taped them inside the bins.

Okay, this wasn't exactly the most complex pin to try but hey, baby steps right? Since we got some outfits that aren't "girly" in bigger sizes as well I think I will need another bin labeled gender neutral "all sizes" and then I'll make a baby girl 3-6, 6-9, and 9-12 months.

So tell me, is this a Pinterest fail? Or did I nail it?
