Stop me if you've heard this one before. It is a story of a parent who rushes around to feed all of the children in the house and get them out the door to either school, practice or a game and leaves the house without feeding themselves. I have found a solution, kencko smoothies! I know what you're thinking, I don't have time to pull out the blender and make a smoothie! Kencko smoothies do not require a blender. For this fact alone I knew I HAD to try them! Read on for my full review.

kencko Smoothies | An Honest Review
Did you know that we are supposed to get a minimum of 5 cups of fruits and vegetables every day? I'll be honest, I didn't. I think I came close to that on a good day. Yikes!
According to kencko's official site I am not alone though. They claim that only 1 in 5 adults actually hit the minimum of 5 cups a day. One kencko smoothie counts as 2.5 cups. WOW! Just a smoothie a day gets you half way to the minimum, and 2.5 cups remaining for the rest of the day doesn't sound as daunting as 5 so I'll say that's a win for sure. kencko review | My Thoughts
I love smoothies but when I think of dragging out the blender, peeling/chopping any fruits and veggies that I want to put into the smoothie and then cleaning the blender later.. I almost always give up on the idea entirely.
When I saw kencko was a blender-free smoothie I was more than intrigued! Since these smoothies can be mixed with water they can be made entirely on the go! Throw a packet, a bottle of water and your shaker bottle in your bag and mix it in the car on your way to school drop-offs, practice or to the office! kencko's shaker bottle is easy to use and easy to clean and the instant smoothies are much thicker than I thought they would be. Related: Is Hello Fresh for Beginner Cooks? I've tried other ready made "smoothies" that ended up being more like juice, very liquidy and not a smoothie thickness at all. I think smoothies from kencko, while thiner than one you might get a restaurant (when just mixed with chilled water) certainly still have a level of thickness to them that does not leave you feeling like you just drank a glass of juice. When you mix the smoothies with milk or yogurt the thickness increases dramatically. On each of the packages it says if the smoothie can be mixed with water or with milk. I found this to be really helpful as I am sure some of the flavor profiles of the smoothies would not mix well with milk, but I wouldn't have known until I tried (and probably would have been disgusted). I like that kencko has totally taken out the guess work with that! If you are someone who does not get enough fruits and veggies in your daily diet, kencko will help you get your daily cups in easily. Smoothies are fun for adults to drink and they are super fun for kids to drink! If your child is picky (like mine) making a kencko smoothie for them to drink through out the day will help up their intake! I would suggest the fruit based ones to start as the greens and some of the veggie based are a harsher taste for younger ones. Bottom line. Do I recommend kencko smoothies? Yes. Yes I do!
