New Jersey's American Dream Set to Rival Mall of America

An indoor theme park, indoor water park, observation Wheel and more are set to open this year in North Jersey. Called American Dream, the mega mall is set to rival Minnesota's Mall of America. Featuring thrill rides, high end shops, a hockey rink and so much more!

Nickelodeon Universe 

Set to become the largest indoor amusement park in the country, American Dream's Nickelodeon Universe is on the second of it's kind. The first is inside Minnesota's Mall of America. The park will feature amusement park rides, a ropes course, and an area for children to play. Recently it was revealed that there would be 4 roller coasters inside the park; a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles themed ride, which will be the steepest in all of the world, The Shredder, Slime Streak and Sandy's Blasting Bronco. Sandy's Blasting Bronco has left many wondering if it is themed after Sandy Cheeks from Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants, true or not, this roller coaster will take guests through the track once forwards and once again backwards. 

DreamWorks Water Park

Indoors. Climate controlled. Inside a glass dome. Open year-round. The DreamWorks Water Park will boast rides and slides with themes featuring Kung-Fu Panda and Shrek.

Hockey Rink 

200 feet by 80 feet the hockey rink inside American Dream will be NHL regulation sized and will offer hockey programs and figure skating programs.

Big Snow America

Ever thought about skiing in doors? With American Dream, now you can BIG SNOW America will boast a 16 story high ski slope. Don't have equipment? No worries. BIG SNOW America will offer rentals as well as lessons!

KidZania 

A play-pretend city that has children pretend to work different jobs in a city setting.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center

Thrill rides in Nickelodeon Universe too big for your little one? LEGOLAND Discovery Center will feature it's own rides (perfect for ages 3-10) as well as a MINILAND exhibit.

Shops, Shops and More Shops!

Saks Fifth Avenue, Off Fifth, Hermes, Zara, Lululemon, MAC Cosmetics, Primemark AND MORE will all have shops inside of the mega mall. 

Eat! Eat! Eat!

According to American Dream's official website, it will feature over 100 eating establishments plus a Food Hall that is said to showcase up and coming chefs by way of "pop-up restaurants" and a Kosher Food Hall. 
When it is all said and done, American Dream will be a multi-billion dollar complex featuring all of the above mentioned exhibits and amenities as well as a dine-in movie complex, a 1,500 seat arena, an observation wheel (outside of the mall), an aquarium, and a 20,000 square feet "health, wellness, beauty and spa facility".

American Dream is going to have it all. Making an often over-looked portion of i-95 an international tourist destination.
