The PAW Patrol take to the sky in their newest TV movie, PAW Patrol: Jet to the Rescue. Our favorite pups can't even get a day off to attend a birthday party, this brand new adventure finds the PAW Patrol team in Barkingburg and things go seriously awry! Get ready to zoom back to Barkingburg with the pups in this all-new TV movie. When the scheming Duke of Flappington steals a powerful levitation gem from the royal castle, it’s up to the PAW Patrol to jet to the rescue before the town is lost forever. Then, join the PAW Patrol for even more high-flying adventures where they’ll save a stunt pilot, one of Mayor Humdinger’s kittens and even Skye when she breaks her wing flying to Jake’s Mountain.

New Song, New Suits and New Rides!

PAW Patrol: Jet to the Rescue is an extended episode and due to the special nature of the episode it comes complete with a twist on their traditional theme song and opening sequence.

Along with a new theme song, the pups all get new outfits AND new jets!

The pups' flight suits are a big departure from their normal ware. While these suits are closer to their "Mighty Pups" outfits, there are enough differences to make these suits really stand out.

An Attention Span Tester

Since PAW Patrol: Jet to the Rescue is an extended episode, the pups do not head to headquarters to change into their PAW Patrol gear until more than 15 minutes in (roughly 18 to be exact).

This might be a long time for littles to keep engaged as they are used to seeing the assignments given out in headquarters within 5 minutes of regular PAW Patrol episodes.

PAW Patrol: Jet to the Rescue follows one storyline throughout the entire runtime of 43 minutes.

I watched this with my preschooler, she was engaged for the entire 43 minutes however I'm not sure I would recommend this for anyone younger than 3 as they might not be able to stay put for that long.

No Mayors Here

Not a spoiler per say, but I feel it is important to note neither Mayor Humdinger nor Mayor Goodway are seen in PAW Patrol: Jet to the Rescue.

Instead, this story is set in Barkingburg so we see the Princess of Barkingburg along with her trouble making pup, Sweetie and we are introduced to the Duke of Flappington,

Perfect for Skye Fans!

PAW Patrol: Jet to the Rescue puts Skye front and center as Ryder makes her team leader for this high-flying mission.

In fact, this whole DVD makes a great gift for fans of Skye as the bonus episodes included also have Skye as the main character.
