Lularoe Review; Beyond the Leggings

Since my first review of LulaRoe I have purchased new items. Their collaboration did indeed bring us Disney prints for Halloween however they did not do Christmas prints, unless you count the Nightmare Before Christmas they released with their Halloween villains collection. But this review goes beyond leggings. I've ventured into other articles of clothing offered by Lularoe; shirts, dresses and vests.

Lularoe Review; Classic T and Carly Dress

I have made purchases of their more expensive items recently; the Carly dress and the Joy vest. I still keep eyeing their Sarah sweaters however at $70 each, it is a large pill to sallow. If I am being totally honest, the only reason I purchased a Joy (retail $60) was because a shop I followed was going out of business and offered 40% off each item, sadly they did not have a Sarah that was my size in a color I liked. 

The Carly dress, $55 for their standard collection and $ for their Disney collection is a high-low, short sleeved dress with a pocket on the chest that alone, does not offer much in terms of shape. However, (and this is why LulaRoe is killing it) shops often style the Carly with a Classic-T or a Perfect-T that you then belt and the dress becomes a shirt and a more formfitting piece of clothing. You can also belt the dress without wearing another layer on top. 

Above you see my Sleeping Beauty printed Carly dress styled with a Classic-T and a solid green Carly dress styled two with a Perfect-T. I wore the Sleeping Beauty outfit to my first night out of the house since the baby and I wore my green outfit to Thanksgiving dinner.

I will admit the Carly dress is super comfy and though it is too lose fitting to wear alone for my taste it is a very versatile piece since you can wear tops on top it and really transform the look, also it does not wrinkle!

Lularoe Review; Joy

The Joy, as seen here, is a sleeveless vest that is very long and has slits on either side. The tough thing about LulaRoe is sometimes pictures can be deceiving colorize and you cannot always get a good understanding for the type of fabric the item is made of. For example, when I looked at pictures of this item on the seller's Facebook page I thought it was going to be a grey color way, when I received it in the mail it was blue.  Also, I thought this item was going to be a heavier, sweater-like material when in fact it is actually rather thin. 

​Recently LulaRoe launched a Noir collection (all black) and according to the shops I follow it was a blood bath trying to order pieces, however some shops were able to secure items. I am hoping to get another pair of black leggings as after I posted my review, I tore a small hole right on the seat of my pants, though small, I would like to get my hands another pair since they really are so comfortable and I can wear black leggings with pretty much anything!

As I order more pieces I will keep you posted! I hear there are more Disney prints coming soon, so stay tuned!
