Finlandia SnackTime Cheese Sticks

Finlandia was founded in the 1950's and has since become known as one of the most highly regarded cheese brands in the US. Finlandia's SnackTime cheese sticks are "Naturally Lactose Free" and made with non-GMO ingredients. Made from fresh, pure ingredients the cheese is aged anywhere from 2 to 8 months and each stick is under 100 calories making it the perfect low-cal snack. 

I received vouchers to purchase this item at my local grocery store free of charge. The thoughts expressed in this post are my own.

Purchasing

As mentioned above, I received vouchers in the mail to purchase Finlandia SnackTime cheese sticks at my local grocery store. Using Finlandia's Item Finder I was able to see which stores near me carried their products. This tool was super helpful as I had not recalled ever seeing this brand before.

Finlandia's SnackTime is usually found in the dairy aisle next to other cheese sticks (which is where I found them at my local Price Chopper) however, they can sometimes be found in the DELI aisle near pre-sliced cheese. So do not be discouraged if you cannot find them right away!

Packaging 

SnackTime cheese sticks are just that, sticks of cheese. They are individually wrapped which makes them the perfect grab and go snack for adults but the cheese sticks are easily cut up into bite-sized pieces for toddlers.

I'd also like to point out that each flavor variety is in a different colored bag which I think makes it easier when shopping you just spot the color bag you need; purple, orange or blue and grab it.

Flavors

Currently Finlandia SnackTime is available in three flavors; Gouda & Parmesan, Cheddar & Gruyere, and Gouda. 

Verdict

They are a hit! I need to point out again that these cheese sticks are "Naturally Lactose Free" because I know people who have an intolerance and they loved trying these cheese sticks and said they were easy on their stomach. Major win when you can have a cheese product that everyone can eat!

These cheese sticks were liked by adults but also my 1 year old. I loved being able to break a stick up into tiny pieces that were perfect for her tiny hands and watch her smile as she ate her snack. It is so fun sharing food that I eat with her because it just shows how much she's growing up!

I got to try all three flavors that Finlandia currently has on the market and I will rank them 1st to 3rd, 1st being my favorite:

1st - Gouda. It is very smooth, not an intense flavor profile at all.

2nd - Gouda & Parmesan. The Gouda softens the Parmesan's bite quite a bit but the flavor profile is stronger.

3rd - Cheddar & Gruyere. The most flavorful and the strongest bite overall. This one puts you back on your heels a bit.
