Disney Junior Play Zone

Disney is bringing the fun closer to home with their Disney Jr. Play Zones popping up in select Simon Malls. The Play Zone features favorite Disney Jr. characters like Vamparina, Fancy Nancy and Mickey and the Roadsters. these play zones are a great way to get kids out of the house and burn some energy..

What is a Disney Jr. Play Zone?

These Play Zones are free to use and located in very select Simon Malls. The zone we were able to visit had a large TV that played different clips and songs from Disney Jr. shows like Fancy Nancy, The Muppet Babies and Vamparina. The space is broken down into different character themed sections; you can dance around with the Puppy Dog Pals, rock out with Vamparina, Create a portrait (that's fancy for picture) with Fancy Nancy and get behind the wheel of Mickey and Minnie's Roadster Racer cars! 

What is a Disney Jr. Play Zone NOT?

Disney Jr. Play Zones are NOT daycares. The location I visited did not have any designated staff for the area, so you MUST keep an eye on your own children. This is NOT a play zone that you drop your child off to and then go shop for a bit. This is simply a break in your shopping trip or the reason you went to the mall. Do not leave your children unattended.

Any Adult Amenities?

Disney Jr. Play Zones are equipped with charging stations, hand sanitizer (because, toddlers), and padded benches (some are Mickey shaped of course). A big plus for this Play Zone was the attached bathroom that has a changing table so if your little one needs to use the restroom you do not have to trek to the other side of the mall to find one! From other images I've seen of other Play Zones, bathrooms may not always be included as they appear to be in the middle of the mall in the open walk way as opposed to in a store that has closed.
