I love holidays and I love celebrating those holidays. St. Patrick's Day is this Saturday and part of our celebrating has been reading holiday themed books. We talked about Valentine's Day books last month, let's take a look at a few St. Paddy's Day themed books this month.
The "How to Catch" series is a great children's book series. They are geared towards older kids (2-6 years of age) as they are a bit long and the pages are easily ripped by grabby hands but the rhyming style makes for an easy read and should keep little one's attention.

Another book that can get ripped but a cute story none the less! "Ten Lucky Leprechauns" show how ten Leprechauns find each other in the forest. This book rhymes so it is fun to read and will delight little ones.

A board book! Written to the tune of "Itsy Bitsy Spider", the "Itsy Bitsy Leprechaun" is perfect for little hands and has colorful illustrations all to a tune they are familiar with already.

It's beloved character, Curious George! He is dressed in green, ready to look for pots of gold, catch Leprechauns and go to the parade. This board book is perfect for little ones and does a great job at explaining all of the festivities of St. Patrick's Day!
