The Disney Store is Holding an Egg-celent In-store Event

Spring is finally springing (in most places) and that means Easter is almost here! Leading up to Easter, the Disney Store is holding a Magical Egg Hunt inside their stores across the country. This event is perfect for those of us who can't get to WDW or Disneyland to search for eggs inside the parks.
Head to the cashier in your local Disney Store and say you'd like to do the Magical Egg Hunt. You'll pay $5 (plus tax) and be given a map with a page of stickers. Each sticker matches a corresponding egg that is hidden in the store. Don't worry they are easy to find. On each egg in the store there is a number that corresponds with your map so you know where to put your sticker once the egg has been found.
In their description Disney says the event is good for 3 years and up however, I will say my daughter is younger than that and she picked up on the process pretty quickly. She didn't really understand when we found the first egg because, well, she loves to eat eggs so I think she was a bit confused since they had pictures of Iron Man, Spiderman and Stitch on them but by the 3rd one I was asking her if she saw any eggs and she was pointing them out to me!

Each character egg is hidden amongst items for purchase of the same vein. For example you may just find the Elsa egg amongst Frozen memorabilia or Woody's egg with Toy Story merch. Just saying.

Once your map is complete, head back up to the register to get your own egg to take. home. There is a choice between Mickey and Minnie though some stores may run out of a particular egg before you get there. Inside each egg is another sticker that can be added to your egg hunt map.
Personally, I think this egg hunt is perfect for toddlers because there is no rush to find physical eggs and there won't be any jealously over who has more eggs since everyone only gets one at the end and the eggs you are looking for aren't for the taking. I'm weary of bringing my toddler to an egg hunt because I think she'll be steamrolled over by bigger kids.

If you are buying for more than 1 child it can get expensive because in order for each kid to get their own egg you will need to spend the $5 bucks but it was super cute and a fun experience and of course there is Disney music playing while your there and they have coloring sheets out for kids to color in-store as well.
