I grew up going to Disney. We went almost every other year and once I hit adulthood my trips tapered off (much to my chagrin). So I love consuming all things Disney via social media, watching movies and TV shows, collectors items, and purchasing gifts for (myself) my kids. I kept seeing social ads for something called Walt Life. An unofficial subscription box services that delivers Disney magic right to your door. Walt Life Subscription Box ReviewWalt Life is an unofficial Disney subscription box service that sends Disney themed goodies right to your door! But based off of all of the social media ads you've seen you probably think ears are always included, right? WRONG! If you've read any of my other articles on subscription boxes you'll see I am often influenced by social media ads. They get me, eventually, almost every time (Hello Stitch Fix and Fab Fit Fun). This was around the time Christmas shopping was starting so I dropped a hint (okay fine, sent the link) to my mom just incase she was looking for ideas for me. Hey, she was going to get me something anyway and instead of a gift card to a store, why not a fun, surprise Disney product box? Right? Walt Life Subscription Box Review: 4 Tiers to Choose FromWalt Life offers different tiers for their boxes they are as follows: Classic Box$30 3+ Disney mystery items Magic Box$39 4+ Disney mystery items Customize your box feature Magic Plus Box$48 1+ Disney Parks item 4+ Disney mystery items Customize your box feature Kingdom Box$79 3+ Disney Parks items 3+ Disney mystery items Customize your box feature Walt Life Subscription Box Review: Speciality BoxesAside from their tiers of Disney item boxes they also offer speciality boxes and a Pin Subscription. Surprise! Box$48 A box perfect for letting someone know they're GOING TO DISNEY WORLD (or Land). Snack Box$69 5+ Disney Park snacks Walt Life Subscription Box Review: Magic Plus BoxThe box purchased for me was the Magic Plus Box. When placing an order for this box you'll be asked to pick a gender; Princess, Prince, Neutral and then you'll be asked to pick an age bracket; All Ages, 0-4, 5-9, 10-17, 18+. These, as of now, are the only options for customization there is nothing that asks for your favorite characters or items you'd most like to see inside the box. Everything is kept a mystery. My box purchased was for an 18+ Princess. This box included the following items: Mickey 90 Jelly BeansElsa Tsum TsumDisney Store Sketchbook Minis Toy Story OrnamentsMicky 90 Holiday Mickey Pop! FigurineDisney Parks Tinkerbell OrnamentNot pictured; included in this box were paper glasses that turned the lights on our Christmas tree into hearts (which was a lot of fun for my toddler) plus a letter and picture from Walt Life welcoming me into the fam. Walt Life Subscription Box Review: Do You Always Get Ears?Sadly, as you can see from what in my box the Parks item was not a pair of Minnie ears. I'm not sure if ears are more likely to be included in the Kingdom Box or if they are usually sent with the Magic Plus Box and this time around it just wasn't included in the batch. Either way, there appears to be no guarantee that ears will be in your box, even if all of the social ads kind of lead you to believe you have a good chance of getting ears. Walt Life Subscription Box Review: Is it Good for Adults? When you sign up (or when someone purchases a box for you) be sure to select the correct age bracket. This box was selected as 18+ so ornaments are obviously for adults, Tsum Tsums are for everyone, the Funko Pop! isn't an item I would consider a "kid item" and Jelly Beans are for everyone. So I would say yes, if you are sure to select the 18+ items like the ones I received are definitely good for adults. Walt Life Subscription Box Review: My Final ThoughtsOverall I'm pleased with my items. I like my ornament set I think it'll be a great addition to our tree next year. I love the Mickey Pop! figurine, Christmas themed 90 years branded it's very cute. The Elsa Tsum Tsum is fun, though I don't have any other Frozen Tsum Tsums, not I don't believeI'll grow my collection. Elsa is a great one to get though because my toddler is all about Frozen at the moment. The bag of Jelly Beans kind of felt like a cop-out. I get that the bag is "Mickey 90" branded but for it to count as one of the 4 mystery items you get, it doesn't feel like the best value. The Walt Life website states the box will have 4+ items and I feel this bag of Jelly Beans could have been included as an extra, "plus" item instead of an item that counted into the guaranteed 4. The Parks item, Tinkerbell ornament is super cute! I'll be happy to put it on my tree next year - her facial expression is great and I happen to really like Tinkerbell she's one of my top favorite characters. Walt Life didn't know that though so it is just pure coincidence. That being said, when you hear "Parks item" I think your mind kind of goes to maybe an article of clothing, a pair of ears or a coffee mug. Maybe even an ornament that says "Walt Disney World" on it. I will say that the ornament does have a tag attached to it that clearly indicates it is a Parks item so I'm not in any way claiming this ornament isn't a Parks item, I'm just saying that it isn't exactly an overtly Parks item. All in all this box was decent. It certainly was fun to open as a one time gift. As of now I have no plans to sign up to receive these on any kind of regular basis. You May Also Like

So good to get a sneak peek inside one of these. I’ve been seeing the ads and considering checking it out. Seems like a cool box but I would rather get it as a gift than pay.

My daughter in law ordered this for me for Mother’s Day. I don’t know what selection she picked but I was thrilled to get Rose ears and a mermaid mug. I also got small package of jelly beans which I thought was cheap.

That's very lucky to get ears and a mug in one box! I do wish they had more of a way to customize your items, or to pay for add-ons to ensure you are getting at least one thing you know you really want.

I ordered the largest family box for my husband and was EXTREMELY disappointed. The items we received we're very very inexpensive and not at all worth the $90. The nicest things in the box were a plastic drawstring bag and a plastic generic water bottle (similar to what you could buy at a dollar store). Although, customer service is responsive the only solution available is to pay to send it back to get a refund. I would NOT recommend this company at all.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!!!! Thought it would be a great gift idea. Best item was a Beauty and the Beast coffee mug, Received cheap hair scrunchies-only one you could tell was Disney other two solid colors, a cheap lion king bracelet and item we have NO idea what it is or could be used for and generic travel hand sanitizer. Waste of money! I'd go onto shop Disney next time.

Agree with those unsatisfied! Experience has been awful so far and I haven’t even received my box. Now I’m not sure if the wait was so worth it. To be continued…. Shipping information/ guarantees are false.
