"Tikki! Spots On!" Ladybug and Cat Nior have all but taken over my house. Akumatized has become part of our regular vocabulary and at this point everyone in the house wants Marinette to tell Adrien how she feels. If your littles walk around shouting CATACLYSM and you're wondering if they'll be able to meet their new favorite heroes in Walt Disney World, I've got really important information for you.

Can You Meet Ladybug and Cat Noir at Walt Disney World?
If you've read my previous Can You Meet (fill in the blank) at Walt Disney World? posts then you probably know where this one is going. Just like The PJ Masks and Bluey characters..
No you cannot meet Miraculous Ladybug or Cat Noir at Walt Disney World. But We Watch Ladybug on Disney+!
Disney now owns the distribution rights (excluding Brazil, China & Canada), so consider this your warning if your littles have been watching the series on Netflix, it is set to leave the streaming giant at the end of January 2023.
What this means is, Disney+ will be the home of the series for viewing but they do not own the intellectual property outright. Fun fact: Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir originally aired in the US on Nickelodeon in 2015 but they removed the series in 2016. It wasn't until 2019 when Disney picked it up to air in the US on the Disney Channel. Is there a live show featuring Ladybug and Cat Noir?
Yes! But not for those of us who live in the US. Not yet, anyway. In my research I found that there is ineed a live stage show called "Miraculous Ladybug The Musical Show" which by the looks from the website featured costumed characters including Ladybug, Cat Noir, Alya, Nemo, and Master Fu!
The show toured France, Europe and Latin American countries. Is there a chance this tour makes its way stateside? Maybe?? I have no insider information here. I'm just a girl, asking Google a bunch of questions about a girl who turns into a ladybug but doesn't really look like a ladybug because she doesn't have any wings.. I seem to have gotten off track here. Will there be a Ladybug and Cat Noir movie?
I think so? For some reason the release of the film appears to have been very complicated.
The film, an animated musical by the way, was initially announced as happening back in 2018 with a projected release date of sometime in 2021. This did not happen. In June of 2021 it was said that the film would be released in early 2022. Again, this did not happen. I personally was just in Kohl's the other day - post Christmas shopping and I saw dolls marked with the movie's title!! Yet I can't seem to find an official release date for the US. I've seen the date July 5, 2023 but I think that is the day the film gets released in France. Is it possible the film will release on July 5th in the US? Sure. But I'm thinking it will release later than that in the US. Is there a chance of a theme park ride or Ladybug and Cat Noir meet and greet?
Maybe. If you go to China.
Remember how I said Disney had the broadcasting rights for practically everywhere except for Brazil, China and Canada? Well in 2020, Jeremy Zag announced a partnership with Fantawild for development in all areas, including a theme park. Much like the release of the movie, however, the opening of the theme park or theme park ride, appears to have been delayed. I have not been able to find anything about this theme park or theme park ride. I can't find an opening date, concept art or even where it will be located. Is it still being built? Who knows! Much like Ladybug and Cat Noir's identities, this theme park appears to be a secret. I'm sorry my research did not turn up more favorable results for those of us who reside in the US, maybe if the film does well Zag will put more dollars behind other ventures for Ladybug in the US besides streaming. Because in the words of Chloe, the lack of Ladybug and Cat Noir meet and greets and experiences in the US is "ridiculous, utterly ridiculous!"
