Much like Rudolph, Oliver is bullied by some of his peers but in the end he ends up saving the day while remaining kind and staying true to himself and he even gets an apology from his bullies. Oliver the Ornament has beautifully illustrated, full page pictures. I really like how expressive Holly and Henry's faces are as they listen to Oliver’s story, you can see the twinkle in their eyes as they experience the magic of talking ornaments and Christmastime.
