In 2021 there will be two ways to get to Sesame Street. Sea World Entertainment Inc. announced a second Sesame Place theme park will open in San Diego, California in spring of 2021, making it the first Sesame Street themed park on the west coast! Sesame Place, LanghorneThe first Sesame Place celebrated it's 35th anniversary this year and debuted a refurbished street along with a brand new show in honor of Sesame Street's 50th anniversary. Sesame Place Langhorne is the first theme park to receive the designation of a Certified Autism Center. To receive the designation staff at the park went through specialized training that focused on sensory awareness, motor skills, social skills and emotional awareness. The park's website provides a link to download the IBCCES Sensory Guide, inside the park there are designated "Quite Rooms" for guests to get relief from sensory stimulation, special parade viewing options, special dinning options and noise-cancelling headphones are available for guests to use during their time at the park. Sesame Place is a great theme park for toddlers as a majority of the rides are built for parents and children to ride together. My family took a trip to Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA over the summer you can read about it here. Sesame Place, San DiegoMuch like the Langhorne location, the new park will feature family rides, water slides, shows and a parade. In keeping with the standards of Sesame Workshop in being an inclusive environment, Sesame Place San Diego will open as a Certified Autism Center following suit of the Langhorne location. Sesame Place San Diego will be located at the current site of Aquatic San Diego. set to close in 2020 and will take up 17 acres. Sesame Street inside Other ParksWhile Sesame Place San Diego will be only the second Sesame Place theme park in the country, there are other places where guests can meet their favorite Sesame Street characters and take part in Sesame Street themed lands. Sesame Street Bay of Play opened in SeaWorld San Diego in 2008, there is a Sesame Street Land in SeaWorld San Antonio and SeaWorld Orlando opened their own Sesame Street Land featuring six rides. Sesame Street themed areas can also be found inside Busch Gardens theme parks in Williamsburg, VA and Tampa Bay, Florida. Blogtober Post Tracker21/31

I used to love Sesame Street when I was a child. I don't think my girls have ever watched it before but they do know who the character are. I didn't realise there was a theme park! How cool x
