The Lorax Printable Popcorn Box

Are your kids big fans of Dr. Seuss? Why not surprise them one night with a Seuss-ified movie night featuring everyone's favorite "shortish, and oldish and brownish and mossy" character, the Lorax! While watching the movie (either the half hour cartoon from 1972 or Illumination Entertainment's feature film from 2012, your choice!) your family can enjoy their popcorn in these printable popcorn boxes inspired by the Lorax himself.

My family is on a HUGE Seuss kick lately and I am all for it!

I grew up loving Dr. Seuss and all of his lovable characters and I am so happy that my kids have taken an interest in his world as well. We read at least one Dr. Seuss book a day and have started watching some Seuss themed shows and Seuss specials.

Now we've started "Friday Night Movie Night" in our house when we eat pizza, popcorn and watch a family-friendly (toddler/pre-school friendly) feature film.

Recently I decided to step up our movie night game by creating my own printable popcorn box.

This simple, minimalist design is inspired by the Lorax and worked perfectly for when we watched Illumination Entertainment's The Lorax starring Danny DeVito and Zac Efron.

Instructions for The Lorax Printable Popcorn Box

Creating this popcorn box is simple. For each box you need print out two of the templates to tape or glue together.

Step 1

Print out two of the provided templates

Step 2

Cut the boxes out, leaving all pieces intact

Step 3

Fold on the lines indicated in the image below

Step 4

Tape or glue the two templates together attaching the sides and the bottom flaps

Step 5

Pop popcorn and enjoy!

In my research of printable popcorn boxes I found the boxes that had the template for the entire box on one page was a bit small. That's why I opted to create this popcorn box in two pieces. More popcorn for everyone!
