I remember visiting the Crayola Experience in Easton, PA with my Girl Scout troop. It was certainly a memorable trip! Recently, Crayola Experience announced Virtual Camp trips that include hands-on fun and 3 hours of go-at-your-own-pace activities. More information on this virtual experience plus info on which Crayola Experience locations have reopened after the jump!

Virtual Camp Trips from Crayola Experience

Crayola Experience in Orlando and Plano now open.
Attention Camp Counselors! Granny Smith's top secret blue recipe is missing and your campers need to find it ASAP!

That is the mission of the virtual trip to Crayola Experience. Campers will be lead through virtual tours of the most popular attractions while completing crafts along the way.

The virtual camp trip is hosted by Jazzy (a real Crayola crayon) and each camper will receive a bag of Crayola goodies to help them on their journey!

The video seems like it's for 4to 5 year olds but I have not seen the age recommendations on the website . I don't encourage my 8 year old to talk to a screen as if it is really answering her. It is more like Blue's clues which my 4 year old loves. But that's not geared for an 8 year old either. I am very disappointed because our school is trying to pass it off as an interactive virtual field trip when it's nothing more than a couple of pre recorded videos with a cartoon crayon talking to your child . I feel it's nothing more than Crayola trying to make a buck during a bad time.
