I'm a sucker for a themed day. Each July, the third Sunday of the month is National Ice Cream Day. To celebrate I've put together some sweet coloring sheets and a fun crossword puzzle featuring different flavors of ice cream. Go all out at your next ice cream social with these fun printables!

Earth Day is April 22nd, this might not be a a holiday that you've typically celebrated with you children in the past (chances are they've been in school and have done activities) but with everyone home now, I've rounded up some fun and educational Earth Day crafts and DIY projects. Plus I've got a list of books that will be perfect for any Earth Day celebration.
In a world that is currently "social distancing", traditional egg hunts are off for Easter this year. But that does not mean you can't still have fun with your neighbors and hunt for eggs together. Here's how to have a social distancing accepted egg hunt!

St. Patrick's Day is here and while this year it certainly feels different it doesn't mean we can't have fun with our kids. Now more than ever we should be showing them how much fun we can have at home, with what we have readily available to us. This may mean watching more TV or it could be reading more books, doing more arts and crafts or a perfect mix of all of the above! Either way, we're all home and we're all making it work any way we can. That's why I've searched streaming services to find great St. Patrick's Day entertainment for toddlers and preschoolers that you can stream RIGHT NOW.
This Saint Patrick's Day start a new tradition with your kids, try to catch a Leprechaun! Now let me warn you, Leprechauns are super tricky and catching one is tougher than you may think! In fact, the New York Times Bestseller How to Catch a Leprechaun showcases just how tricky it is to catch a Leprechaun and how easily they can foil your trapping plans. Don't worry though there are plenty of different types of a traps that you can try, 15 of them are illustrated in the companion book, How to Build a Leprechaun Trap. These books are fun for the whole family and traps range in difficulty levels I picked the easiest one and created it with my toddlers. This year we are going to catch a Leprechaun!
It doesn't matter if you call it a White Elephant or a Yankee Swap, the game remains the same. Guests are told to bring a gift within certain perimeters. Some hosts will set a dollar amount of $25, or even $50 for the gift and expect it to be something someone would enjoy. Other hosts will request DIY items or items that cost very little. If you find yourself stuck on what to bring to a White Elephant party, I have some ideas for you.
"More turkey Mr. Chandler?" It's no secret that some of the funniest episodes of Friends are the Thanksgiving episodes. All but 1 season had a Thanksgiving based episode, I don't know what went wrong during season 2 but they more than made up for it year after year as their Thanksgiving episodes got bigger and featured huge stars (I'm looking at you, Brad Pitt). So if you're looking for a new tradition this year, I have just the thing; watch all 9 Friends Thanksgiving episodes.
