This year is an exciting year in our house. This year marks the first year we'll have an Elf visit us. Yes, we are about to introduce Elf on the Shelf to our toddler. After watching her at egg hunts this past Easter, I think she's really going to grasp the concept of finding the Elf each morning and get excited to search around the house for him. In order to prepare for our new arrival on December 1st, I have complied some Elf on the Shelf set up ideas from some wonderful bloggers!

Tis the season for holiday gift shopping! Don't bother going to the store this year, give a gift that doesn't require you (the giver) or them (the receiver) to leave the comforts of home. I have subscription box recommendation for every member of your family!
Hard to believe that yet another Halloween has come to pass (side note, this also marks the end of my blogging challenge, Blogtober) but here we are! I'm not one to go all out with costumes and decor but I certainly appreciate when others do. The ones who seem to put in the most time and energy into Halloween costumes are of course, celebrities!
I grew up in the 90's baby and we had some pretty top notch entertainment. When it comes to Halloween movies we may just have the best of the best. Since the big night is almost here, I'm sharing movies that all 90's kids need to watch with their own children.
It's almost the most wonderful time of the year again! Pretty soon friends, relatives and acquaintances will bring gifts for our children. I am in no way trying to sound ungrateful when I say this but, there are a few things I'd rather not see my toddler unwrap this year. I present to you the, anti-gift guide for Toddlers.
We are inching closer and closer to Halloween and if you're looking for ways to get your toddler excited, Netflix is chockfull of Halloween themed specials just for them! Check out this roundup of stand alone specials and Halloween episodes lists toddler favorite shows.
I'm a girl mom two times over and I grew up a glitter, sparkle and princess loving child and while it remains to be seen what my baby will be into, I can already tell that my toddler (for now) is following in my footsteps. This is not to say she HAS to love all things princess or that I'm forcing her to like such things but I'm also not discouraging her from liking these things. Halloween is almost here and I feel this tends to become a hot-button issue, but I'm sharing the perfect princess costumes for toddlers.
"Each year the Great Pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch he thinks is the most sincere..." It isn't a holiday without a Charlie Brown special and one of my favorites is It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Watching this special was a tradition for me as a kid and I'm so happy to share this timeless classic with my own kids. Let's revisit 8 of the best quotes from It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.
