National Donut Day is celebrated on the first Friday in June. This celebration dates back to 1938 and was created by The Salvation Army as a way to thank soldiers in World War 1. I've got you covered with my Donut Day Decor kit! Donut Day Printable DecorPrintable decor is a fun and easy way to decorate for a themed day. A few sheets of card stock and bam! You have a decorated living room or dining room ready to go. Today's theme is donuts! I've created a printable DIY donut banner, a DIY sprinkle banner, DIY donut cupcake (or donut) toppers, a donut matching game, a donut word search and a donut coloring sheet - all great ways to celebrate National Donut Day! Donut Day Decor : DIY Printable BannersTo put together these banners, simply print out as many sheets of either the sprinkle banner or the donuts you would like, attach them to a string or ribbon with tape or glue on the back and hang! Download the Sprinkle Banner Here Download the Donut Banner, 1 of each color Here Download the Donut Banner, 2 of each color Here I created a banner file that include only 6 donuts (1 in each color) and a banner file that includes 12 donuts (2 in each color) depending on how big you need you donut banner to be will depend on which file you use. Donut Day Decor: DIY Printable Toppers These toppers would make a great accessory on cupcakes, donuts or even straws! For cupcakes and donuts, print out, cut and attach the donut to a tooth pick or other small, wooden skewer and stick them into your cupcakes or donuts. Download the Donut Cup Cake Toppers Here If using these toppers as straw toppers, print out and cut out each donut - depending on the size of your straw you may have to cut out the entire the smaller circle inside of the donut or you may only need to cut a slit to slip a straw through the middle.
