Sesame Place To Open Year Round in 2021

Exciting news coming out of Langhorne, PA! Sesame Place has released their calendar of events for 2021 and for the first time EVER the park plans to be open every month of the year in 2021! This winter Sesame Place will host special, themed character dines and will debut an all-new drive-thru experience! I've rounded up all the exciting details!

Sesame Place Is Now Open Year Round!

After a delayed opening, changes to their operating schedule, cancelled character dines, and parades - Sesame Place (located in Langhorne, PA) is ready to put 2020 behind them and has released their events calendar for 2021 which shows the park being open ALL YEAR ROUND!

Sesame Place 2021: 40th Birthday Drive-Thru

NEW for 2021! This brand new drive-thru event promises to be filled with magical excitement and surprises, everyone will feel like the guest of honor as they make their way through the bright and colorful birthday scenes, listen to energetic tracks from the popular Neighborhood Birthday Party Parade, and wave to Sesame Street friends dressed in their birthday best!

Anticipation builds as guests make their way through a maze of whimsical birthday lights and venture through an illuminated cake of frosted fun. As guests make their way into the park, they’ll be greeted by even more Sesame Street friends in festive attire atop their birthday-themed floats.

Face coverings are required at transaction points (admission, merchandise, and culinary) during your experience.

Tuesdays & Wednesdays beginning January 26th and running through February 24th

Sesame Place 2021: Elmo's Furry Fun Fest

Elmo's Furry Fun Fest will run from January 30th through March 21st and will offer a plethora of new experiences for families! Specialized, themed dines, a parade, a new dance party and MORE!

Guests will have to select a reservation time slot; 10 AM to 1PM or 2PM to 5PM. These timed reservations allow for lower capacity inside the park to allow for proper social distancing.

Elmo's Furry Fun Fest: Elmo's Rockin Birthday Bash

Get ready to wish Elmo a happy birthday at this character dine!

​Bring your monster appetite and get ready to rock out and dance with everyone’s favorite Sesame Street friends. Enjoy a delicious buffet and special birthday desserts.

Treat your little Valentines to a delicious buffet meal.  Join everyone’s lovable Sesame Street friends for a festive Valentine's Day celebration with singing, dancing and themed desserts for each little love!

Important details about character dinning at Sesame Place per the official website:

• Advance dining reservations are required
• Child and Infant reservations must be purchased in conjunction with an Adult reservation. Children cannot dine alone.
• Children 23 months and younger free but require a reservation.
• All dines are assigned seating. Large parties that would like to sit together should book under the same last name.

Elmo's Furry Fun Fest: Neighborhood Birthday Party Parade

2020 marked Sesame Place's 40th birthday party, sadly their party had to be altered slightly and the parade was canceled, well for 2021 it is back!

​Following physical distance markers, guests will safely line the parade route to experience this energetic neighborhood birthday party on iconic. Sesame Street with their favorite furry friends, including Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Count von Count, Bert, Ernie, Zoe, Rosita, and Big Bird.

Elmo's Furry Fun Fest: Elmo's Party Balloon Scavenger Hunt

NEW for 2021! During this party-themed, interactive scavenger hunt, guests will make their way around the park to look for different party balloons to check off their list and collect a fun prize!

Elmo's Furry Fun Fest: Furry Friends Dance Party!

NEW for 2021! Don't forget your dancing shoes! During this dance party, guests can dance, sing, and groove along with everyone’s Sesame Street friends during this physically distance interactive dance party!

After Elmo's Furry Fun Fest, Sesame Place will once again bring back their Easter event, "Elmo's Eggstravaganza" followed by their spring time event "Elmo's Springtacular" which will run up until Sesame Place's summer operating season.

In the fall, "The Count's Halloween Spooktacular" event is back along with the Halloween Drive-Thru that debuted in 2020.

In the winter, "A Very Furry Christmas Celebration" is back as well as the Christmas Drive-Thru that debuted in 2020.

It is sure to be an exciting year at Sesame Place!
